
The Featherstone Rovers Foundation is the charitable arm of Featherstone Rovers RLFC, it was formed and became a registered charity in 2006 to provide the club with the opportunity to expand upon the community activities that were being delivered by the clubs Community Development Officer within Featherstone, the Five Towns Area and other areas that lie within the Wakefield Metropolitan District Council.
Today, the Featherstone Rovers Foundation is proud of its achievements and in recent years it has held the title of 'Community Club of the Year' presented by the Rugby Football League. Our commendable reputation for quality delivery has seen the variety of activities and programmes that we run develop and expand to meet the needs of those engaging and to reach out to those who are not.
Our aim is to inspire and motivate individuals to be a catalyst for positive change in their community by enabling programmes that run over four pillars of activity:

Diversity in activities allows us to engage participants from a wide range of different backgrounds. Last year we engaged approximately 20,000 inhabitants of the Wakefield Metropolitan District Council Area.

Featherstone Rovers Foundation are a local charity and so rely on our fabulous volunteers to help in many ways it can be anything from assiting deliver our projects to helping us with admin and with our vital fundraising!
