2008 Fixtures

Featherstone Rovers have been drawn against Dewsbury, York and Gateshead in the Northern Rail Cup with our first fixture away at Dewsbury on Sunday 3rd February.

 

Our first League fixture will see us entertain Whitehaven at Post Office Road on Friday 21st March. 7.30pm kick-off followed by a trip to Salford on Monday 24th in what will be a tough start to the campaign.

Steve Dooler stays with Featherstone

On Friday night Steve Dooler signed a new contract with the club, it had been feared that Steve would be emigrating to Australia through work commitments. Whilst this is still a possibility in 2008 it is likely to be in the latter part of the year and Steve wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else in the meantime!

Sunday 9th December 2007 – The Buccaneers Christmas Market, 10.00am – 4.00pm, large number of stalls with everything you need for Christmas from local suppliers.

Wednesday 12th December 2007 - Live Band Night

Friday 14th December 2007 – 3-Course Christmas Dinner with Top Comedian and late night disco, limited numbers available at just £15 per person.

Sunday 16th December 2007 - The Buccaneers Christmas Party, an afternoon of fun and games for all the family!

Wednesday 26th December 2007 – Fun and games at the Jungle in the Season opener followed by drinks back at the Rovers Clubhouse.
