Study Rovers Success Co-operative Group Community Fund Featherstone Rovers, Study Rovers Learning Centre , is delighted to have been successful again in obtaining a grant from the co-operative Group Community Fund. This most welcome financial support has been awarded to continue to run the Saturday Club through the rest of the year. The Saturday Club is for 8 - 11 year old boys and girls. The emphasis is on healthy lifestyles and improving self-confidence and social skills. Skills and fitness sessions are being organised and delivered by Featherstone Rovers rugby players, who provide great role models for the young people. Study Rovers is a non-profit making community learning centre and the projects that are run by them have to be funded. Study Rovers is therefore delighted that the co-operative Group have decided to support this very important Saturday morning activity for a second year. The whole purpose is for the youngsters who attend to have fun, whilst developing a positive attitude to diet, fitness and exercise. We hope the Saturday Club will also give the young people an added sporting interest in their lives through a fun experience. For further information call Study Rovers on 01977 781673.
