Featherstone Rovers are delighted to announce that former player Stuart Arundel has joined the clubs Board of Directors
Featherstone Rovers are delighted to announce that former player Stuart Arundel has been co-opted to join the Board of Directors with immediate effect.

Stuart first became involved off the field in March when he assisted the club in the formulation of the Destination Super League campaign through Leeds based brand, advertising and design firm, Beautiful Minds. The club has been impressed with Stuart's dedication and enthusiasm since being appointed Official Marketing Partner and an appointment to the Board of Directors is felt to be the natural progression.

Stuart has vast experience in the field of marketing and a proven track record of creating winning formulas for establishing brand awareness and communicating messages. In the past Stuart has worked on marketing campaigns for the RFL, Volvo, Marstons Pedigree and Ideal Standard. More recently as well as assisting Featherstone Rovers, he has been working with Welcome to Yorkshire, ADT, Leeds Brewery and Showcase Cinemas.

On his appointment to the board of directors, Stuart said "After my involvement with Featherstone Rovers over the last six months it will be a pleasure to step up to a board position. This is a great rugby league club and community to be connected with and I will look forward to reaching our immediate target of Destination Super League.

"As a club targets are being set and then achieved. Last year 1000 season tickets sales was reached, we want to smash that for the 2013 season. Our attendances were up 38% for 2012 putting us on track for Destination Super League. Success on the pitch goes a long way to making those targets achievable because everyone loves a winning team!

"With work on the stadium underway the spectator experiences at Big Fellas will only get better. It is up to the board, officials, coaching team, players, fans and supporters to spread the gospel of all things Featherstone. We're in this together! Roll on 30th September."

Welcoming Stuart to the Board Featherstone Rovers Chairman Mark Campbell said "I'm delighted that Stuart has agreed to join our board as this is a key role in Destination Super League and the club's need to higher its profile, I feel the expertise and experience that Stuart brings will really strengthen the club in this key area. Since Stuart has been involved with the club, I've been really impressed with how he ‘gets' what the club is all about and how he's applied this to all of our marketing strategy, we are all looking forward to working with Stuart and ‘Beautiful Minds' more closely in future."
