ROVERS GO BACK TO THE FUTURE
Friday 6th May 2011
You can put your replica shirt on it.
Innovation is a Rugby League tradition, and Featherstone Rovers have been at the heart of it through most of their history.
As far back as the early sixties they played in Ireland.
In the late sixties they were at the forefront of Sunday Rugby
They were advocates of summer Rugby long before it became a reality
And in the eighties they were pioneers of shirt sponsorship.
To acknowledge this the club are releasing a limited edition replica ‘LINPAC' sponsored blue and white hooped jersey. It will be launched at the Carnegie Challenge Cup game against FC XIII Lezignan on Saturday.
Paul Taylor, Rovers' Commercial Manager said:
"This jersey is a steal at £45. Although it will be on sale in all sizes, numbers are limited and so it will be a case of first come first served."
