Injury update Story in brief:
Head Coach Daryl Powell outlines the latest injury news from the club....
As Featherstone Rovers Head Coach Daryl Powell prepares to embark on another Challenge Cup campaign, he reports that he has a couple of fresh injury doubts going in the Third Round tie against Thatto Heath Crusaders.

Featherstone Rovers Head Coach Daryl Powell said "It's fair to say that any players not 100% fit will not feature at the weekend especially as we play Doncaster on the following Thursday evening. Anthony England has a slight hamstring injury which may rule him out at the weekend but touch wood he should be fit for Thursday. Ian Hardman has slight knock too which may mean he will not feature at the weekend."

Daryl Powell also provided an update on other players currently injured at the club and said "Sam Smeaton continues to work extremely hard in rehab but we still have no date expected for his return. The injury he sustained was one of the worst of its kind according to his specialist. Kyle Briggs picked up a knee ligament injury at York on Good Friday. He had a scan today (Wednesday) which we are awaiting results of but he could be potentially out of action for 4 weeks."

Featherstone Rovers face Thatto Heath Crusaders on Sunday 7th April (3PM kick off). Admission on the gate is £10 Adults, £5 Concessions and £3 Children.
