The 'Study Rovers Learning Centre' is a non-profit making organisation operated by Doug and Barbara Wilford.

Initially it provided an opportunity for Adult Education in I.C.T. with Wakefield College . However, it has developed over the years and now has a wide range of links and programmes :-

• Adult Education is still provided in I.C.T.
• Courses in 'Healthy Living' are provided for local secondary and primary schools as well as Young Offenders. Most recently the programme for primary schools was sponsored by Warburtons.
• A set of 'Primary Days' which provide Drama, Literacy and Science experiences.
• A thriving Saturday club for local school children.
• A centre for Wakefield District Community School providing GCSE qualifications in Maths, English, Science and I.C.T.. This has now been extended to include 'Step out' opportunities to local youngsters.
• A recent innovation is the opening of a GMB 'Conversion to Learning Centre' in the Atrium. This provides courses for players and staff at the club as well as Adult Education opportunities in ICT for the local community.
