The Featherstone Sports and Education Foundation was set up in 2006 and was established to give the children of Featherstone and surrounding communities opportunities, through both sport and education, which would enhance their development.

The Foundation is still very much in its infancy but plans are afoot to launch an intensive activity programme in the Summer of 2008 and to educate children in healthy living and give them opportunities to participate in different sports, which they may wish to take up as recreation or as a profession, as players or administrators. 

More information will be available soon on the Summer project but it will build on the formidable success that Featherstone Rovers has already achieved via Doug and Barbara Wilford, Tina Dransfield and Kevin Hobbs.

Although the Club are not officially involved, it is with their blessing that the grounds and facilities can be utilised to the full.
