History and Honours The Featherstone Rovers Club was formed in 1902, reformed in 1906 and became a professional Club on 14 June 1921. Originally made up of local miners the club has gained a great reputation in the sport over the years as they have gradually won every major honour in the game as well as being a production line for some of the world's top players.
